All subjects are taught through five "Areas of Interaction," which assist students in making connections between curricular subjects and the real world.
A minimum of 50 hours per year is required for each of the 8 subject groups. They are: Mathematics, Science, Humanities (Social Studies), Language A (English),), Arts, Physical Education, and Technology). In addition, a personal project must be completed in grade ten.
Students’ work on selected assignments is assessed using the criteria prescribed by CBSE.
students at the School are expected to be independent thinkers, develop first class critical reading, writing and analysis skills, learn to understand the value of research across all areas of the curriculum and be self-motivated and self-driven through a genuine love of the subject and not alone by intrinsic rewards.
The Greenwood School’s academic ethos focuses on encouraging the children to utilise their talents, and develop their intellectual and creative interests so that they remain interesting and interested youth for the rest of their professional and personal lives.
