The new academic session of the school begins on April 1 every year and it is desirable that all admission formalities be completed well before that date. However limited vacancies may exist in the middle of the academic year.
The school follows the regular academic pattern of premier public schools. The School's annual programme is as follows:
The application form can be requested from the School’s Office. A charge of Rs.500/- is to be paid towards the application form. An entrance test will be scheduled (from grade 4 onwards).
We admit students on the basis of a simple written test. The very purpose of this written test is to find out skills in English, Mathematics and Sciences and expect every student to meet a minimum set standard for admission to the school.
Following a successful outcome and a completed parent interview, the admissions office will require the filled up application form with the relevant documents to join the school. From this point, parents need to pay the required enrolment fee as per the fee schedule. On receiving the payment the admissions process will be completed.
Once admitted, students are expected to improve upon their level at admission through consistent effort and concentrated work. This does not mean that we expect every student to achieve the very highest grade but instead we seek to give each student a clear, individual target related to each person’s own abilities.
In the case of overseas applicants an offer of admission may be made on the basis of the previous academic performance of the child. Parents of overseas applicants must provide documentary and duly attested evidence to the school that the child has obtained the desired level of academic excellence. The school requires details of the academic record of the student, current mark sheets and a letter of recommendation from a teacher. The admissions committee of the school will subsequently offer admission to students who fulfil the stringent admission criteria.
Misconduct and moral turpitude
Non-payment of School fees.
Non-adherence to School rules and regulations.
Failing twice in the same class.
If a student is expelled no fees will be refundable.
The Principal may at any time, and without assigning reasons, ask parents to withdraw a boy/girl if he feels that such a course is in the best interests of the School.
Parents intending to withdraw their children from the ensuing year must tender their notice of withdrawal in writing. Written and signed notice of withdrawal must reach the School by 31st March of the ongoing (Present / Current) academic year. If the written notice of withdrawal does not reach the School by the above mentioned date, the School will be entitled to half the annual fees of the ensuing (next) year. In the case of a student being withdrawn during the course of an academic year, the School will be entitled to fees for that whole academic year. (no fees will be refunded. This applies to the new admission also).
Transfer certificates, school-leaving certificates, testimonials and examination certificates will not be issued until all School dues have been paid.
