Greenwood has adopted a curriculum that has been tailor made to suite the global standards and is strictly in accordance with the syllabus prescribed by the CBSE.

Students are expected to take responsibility for their own learning, using skills such as time management, keeping a calendar of assignments, test-taking strategies, self-assessment, etc.

All subjects are taught through five "Areas of Interaction," which assist students in making connections between curricular subjects and the real world.

Students complete a 20 hours of community service requirement each year.

A minimum of 50 hours per year is required in each of the 8 subject groups. They are: Mathematics, Science, Humanities (Social Studies), Language A (English),Language B ( Hindi or Telugu), Arts, Physical Education, and Technology. In addition, a personal project must be completed in grade ten.

Students' work on selected assignments is assessed using criteria prescribed by the CBSE.

Primary education

At Greenwood Primary we believe that children should be happy, challenged and secure. We aim to inspire our children to become confident, independent learners who can achieve their full potential; As we believe learning should be fun, purposeful and challenging, we aim to equip each child with the skills they need for lifelong learning through interesting and memorable learning opportunities each day. We have designed our curriculum to enable children to think creatively and take pride in their achievements.

At Greenwood Primary children enjoy coming to school and having fun learning. We are a school that whole heartedly believes in every child as an individual and developing their skills. We will encourage and celebrate creativity, original thinking and imagination as well as effort and achievement. We will teach the importance of moral values and consideration of others.

At Greenwood Primary, children are taught to listen well, speak clearly, read enthusiastically and write effectively for a wide range of purposes and audience. Children are supported and encouraged as they learn to express themselves creatively and imaginatively on their way to becoming enthusiastic and independent learners.

Secondary Education

The students of Greenwood will be prepared to successfully appear for the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE), conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The evaluations are conducted as per the “Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation”(CCE).
